Director, Product Architecture

Travelers is seeking a Director, Architecture to join our organization as we grow and transform our Enterprise Technology Solutions organization.

• Define and execute the strategic architecture roadmap for platform modernization of Management Liability and Cyber products.
• Drive a cohesive domain architecture and integration strategy (for APIs, Events, Agents) across Product, Underwriting and Pricing domains.
• Technical Execution: Define target state technology architecture and roadmaps.
• Strategic Accountability: Collaborate with Technology and Business leadership to develop architecture priorities and direction to enable business imperatives.

• Bachelor’s in technology related field or equivalent, with 6 to 8 years of architecture experience.
• Strong architecture and recent hands-on engineering experience with modern technologies like Guidewire, AWS Cloud and Microservice-based architecture.
• Successfully architected large scale technology initiatives.
