About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering classroom instruction and engaging activities

- Aid with daily living skills and mobility assistance when necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with supervising staff
- Help create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive learning atmosphere
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Illinois ISBE Para Educator License, or commitment to obtain prior to starting
- Experience working in a school, childcare, or related educational setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and genuine passion for supporting children’s growth
