Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) PER Diem RN

Provide on-call response to victims of crime throughout St Peter’s Health Partners Emergency Departments and inpatient units as needed (Samaritan Hospital, Albany Memorial, and St. Peter’s Hospital).

• Provide on-call response to victims of crime
• Forensic examination and evidence collection
• Testify if subpoenaed
• Communicate with multidisciplinary response team

• Current RN License in State of New York
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a RN
• BLS
• Critical thinking skills
• Communication/bedside manner skills
• Good assessment skills
