Homeownership Compliance Supervisor (COM 5) at the Department of Commerce

• Oversees the work of the Homeownership Compliance team within the HOU
• Coordinates, reviews, and approves budgets
• Develops and refines team roles and functional alignment
• Leads strategic planning efforts for the Homeownership unit
• Champions continuous improvement
• Supervise compliance staff including performance evaluation, coaching, and workload management
• Conduct quality control reviews and support staff development
• Develop and deliver training for compliance staff, providers, and partners
• Serve as subject matter expert for homeownership compliance and performance
• Provide consultation and coaching for complex project compliance issues
• Ensures cross-team coordination within the HOU, HD, and Commerce as needed, and with external stakeholders

• 9 years of combined experience and/or education in community, trade or economic development with a focus in three or more areas
• Supervising one or more employees including hiring staff, training and development, assigning work, evaluating performance, and taking corrective action
