Knowledge Management and Training Specialist - Management Analyst 3

Responsibilities

  • Creating role-based training and knowledge management materials
  • Working closely with the CORE project training team and business owners
  • Writing and proofreading knowledge management content
  • Enhancing knowledge management materials through the strategic use of visuals, graphics, lists, video, etc.
  • Collaborating with other content authors
  • Providing writing, editing, and design support to other content authors
  • Publishing approved training content packages
  • Contributing to the management of training and knowledge management repositories and governance activities
  • Providing end-user software training, coaching, tier one support, and Q&A support
  • Establishing and maintaining regular two-way communication with business owners, team members, and the project team

Requirements

  • Proven experience performing technical writing responsibilities
  • Proven experience in identifying problems, analyzing business, management or technology needs
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, supporting, or implementing business process improvement or organizational change efforts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to create and/or interpret complex business process maps
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly explain complex ideas
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the following competency areas: Customer Focus, Researching and Gathering Information, Analysis, Communication, Teaching and Training, Managing Change, Consultation, Functional and Technical Skills
