Responsibilities
- Initiates, and/or participates in the hiring, training, counseling, corrective action, and evaluation progress of subordinate staff.
- Coordinates activities of the living area, including subordinate personnel duly assignments and coordinates individual and group activities of the residents.
- Responsible for maintaining the living unit, residents, staff and unit records.
- Observes and evaluates work performance of Attendant Counselors.
- Works other shifts including weekends on a routine basis to ensure uniform services and performances.
- Provides clear direction to subordinate staff.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- and four years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
- Or High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience as an Attendant Counselor 1.
- Or Meets professional qualifications for Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP)
