Responsibilities

  • Initiates, and/or participates in the hiring, training, counseling, corrective action, and evaluation progress of subordinate staff.
  • Coordinates activities of the living area, including subordinate personnel duly assignments and coordinates individual and group activities of the residents.
  • Responsible for maintaining the living unit, residents, staff and unit records.
  • Observes and evaluates work performance of Attendant Counselors.
  • Works other shifts including weekends on a routine basis to ensure uniform services and performances.
  • Provides clear direction to subordinate staff.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • and four years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
  • Or High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience as an Attendant Counselor 1.
  • Or Meets professional qualifications for Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP)
