About the role
A part-time speech-language pathologist is needed for a high school setting in Philadelphia, PA. This role focuses on serving approximately 20-25 students, primarily conducting evaluations and providing consultative support, mainly within general education. Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for high school students
- Provide consultative support primarily to general education staff
- Collaborate closely with the lead SLP to develop and implement strategies
- Manage a low caseload of approximately 20-25 students
- Coordinate evaluations for approximately 15 students without prior assessments
- Provide teletherapy services initially, with onsite services starting January
- Adapt scheduling to two flexible days per week
Requirements
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods and technology
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or completed
- Effective collaboration and communication skills within interdisciplinary teams
- Background in school-based speech-language pathology is highly desirable
