About the role
A healthcare facility in Denver, CO is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a Master’s specialization in Oncology to support their patient care team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy and other oncology treatments safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment processes, side effects, and symptom management.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and documentation.
- Participate in patient assessments, monitor responses to treatment, and report changes promptly.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Master’s degree with a specialization in Oncology Nursing.
