About the role
Provide expert nursing care in an oncology infusion center setting, delivering compassionate and specialized treatment to patients facing cancer diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies safely and effectively.
- Monitor patient responses and manage side effects with clinical expertise.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and symptom management.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate personalized care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and comply with safety protocols.
Requirements
- Current California RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Chemotherapy certification and infusion therapy experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience.
