• Assess patient needs through comprehensive data collection including history, observation, physical examination, and data analysis.
• Deliver nursing interventions aligned with individualized Plans of Care and physician directives, ensuring the highest standard of practice.
• Perform hourly rounds focusing on patient safety and satisfaction using the 4 Ps (Pain, Positioning, Personal needs, and Placement).
• Create a compassionate and respectful atmosphere for patients, families, and visitors.
• Utilize proper health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff during care delivery.
• Employ standard protocols for managing central lines, chest tubes, urinary catheters, pressure ulcers, restraints, and fall-risk patients.
• Support departmental performance by mentoring new nurses and participating in educational and system-wide evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Demonstrate ongoing professional development through goal-setting and continuous learning.
• Ensure safe medication storage and administration, including handling of large volume IVs and pre-packaged medication kits.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care excellence.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Experience with critical nursing procedures and patient assessment.
• Strong commitment to compassionate patient care and teamwork.
• Ability to mentor and guide novice nursing staff.
• Familiarity with evidence-based nursing practices and hospital protocols.
