Special Ed Teacher

A specialized teaching opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher at an elementary school setting in Duluth, GA. This contract position covers the current school year (CSY) and requires dedication to supporting students with diverse learning needs.

• Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students with special needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working within an elementary school environment
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Knowledge of special education laws and best practices
