About the role
A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced cardiac sonographer skilled in advanced echocardiography techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform transthoracic (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) including contrast studies (Optison/Definity) and bubble studies.
- Conduct exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography.
- Utilize advanced ultrasound equipment, such as Philips EPIC and CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin systems.
- Document and interpret diagnostic images using electronic medical records systems including Athena, Meditech, and PICOM.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining open communication, teamwork, and receptiveness to feedback.
- Participate in evening, night, and weekend call rotations as required.
- Adhere strictly to vaccination policies, including mandatory flu vaccination without declinations.
Requirements
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Left-handed scanning skills preferred.
- Experience or interest in pediatric transthoracic echocardiography.
