Echo Technician

A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced cardiac sonographer skilled in advanced echocardiography techniques.

• Perform transthoracic (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) including contrast studies (Optison/Definity) and bubble studies.
• Conduct exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography.
• Utilize advanced ultrasound equipment, such as Philips EPIC and CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin systems.
• Document and interpret diagnostic images using electronic medical records systems including Athena, Meditech, and PICOM.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining open communication, teamwork, and receptiveness to feedback.
• Participate in evening, night, and weekend call rotations as required.
• Adhere strictly to vaccination policies, including mandatory flu vaccination without declinations.

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Left-handed scanning skills preferred.
• Experience or interest in pediatric transthoracic echocardiography.
