About the role
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Anoka, MN. This contract position spans the current school year and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Provide teletherapy services as needed to maximize accessibility and effectiveness
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures
Requirements
- Certified SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or certified SLPA credentials
- Experience working in school environments, with familiarity in K-12 settings preferred
- Background in pediatrics and healthcare speech services
- Competence delivering teletherapy sessions
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion for entry-level SLPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
