Manager, Patent

Responsible for management of Universal’s patent program for its worldwide theme park business. Duties include interfacing with Universal leadership and counsel to coordinate and support filing and prosecution of patents, protection of Universal’s patent portfolio, and patent clearance of Universal activities.

• Manage and direct the drafting, filing, prosecution, and maintenance of U.S. and non-U.S. patents
• Partner with advanced technology, engineering, and design groups to develop patent strategies and pursue patents on critical systems/technologies

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other relevant technical area required
• US Patent Bar required
