This Sr. Finance Manager on our 1P Studios finance team will play a central role in supporting our 1P studios improve our profitability by managing our central expenses and managing the balance sheet.

Responsibilities

  • You will be the main point of contact for the 1P central expenses, working with engineering, accounting, and marketing in setting up properly allocations of central costs to our 1P Gaming studios and running periodic reviews of our balance sheet.
  • You will partner with a broad set of teams to drive insight and analytics into the key drivers of the 1P Gaming business & be an integral part of the Gaming Finance team.
  • As you provide senior business leaders with financial perspective, you’ll enable solutions that support critical strategic initiatives and maximize ROI.
  • You will design new approaches to collecting and evaluating financial data and creating additional value by translating data into actionable insights and implement creative ways to communicate findings from data.
  • You will orchestrate the comprehensive system of accounting policies, procedures, and controls, maintain accountability for internal control processes and procedures.
  • You will drive compliance and controllership objectives through partnerships, and mitigate emerging statutory, tax, regulatory, and fiduciary risks.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
  • OR equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity/experience with core Microsoft financial analysis and reporting processes and tools is highly valued
  • Ability to develop trusted partnerships with business leaders, and other stakeholders
  • Able to handle a high degree of ambiguity and quickly identify what needs to be accomplished across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Ability to influence others without direct authority and appropriately push back when required
