Human Resource Consultant 3
Responsibilities
- Consult with executives, managers, and supervisors in assigned programs for employee performance management or investigations, labor relations, workforce planning, employee leave, and all other human resource management personnel functions
- Assist in the management of employee performance by analyzing issues and providing strategic plans and tactical solutions to address matters
- Draft correspondence to include responses to complaints, performance expectations, disciplinary action, and grievance responses
- Serve as a subject matter expert in performance management, employment laws, and policy; creatively develop and deliver tools and resources, including training, for HR staff and agency managers to mitigate risk and promote effective and lawful workforce management practices and healthy and productive supervisor/employee working relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (with a focus on business, human resources, social or organizational behavioral sciences, or related field) and two years of professional human resource work experience
- Equivalent education/experience
