• Cleans various buildings, offices, rooms, institutional and non-institutional facilities
• Cleans and sanitizes showers, restrooms, toilet facilities; keeps them properly supplied with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other items
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors, walls and woodwork; dusts furniture and equipment; empties and cleans ash trays and wastebaskets
• Polishes furniture and metal fixtures; washes windows; vacuums rugs, curtains and furniture
• Empties waste baskets, trash, and recycling containers
• Sets up and takes down equipment and furnishings
• Maintains inventory of equipment and products
• Performs minor maintenance and repair work, such as unskilled painting, cleaning furnace flues, oiling furnace motors, sharpening tools and replacing faucet washers or toilet tank floats

• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow written and oral instructions
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid state driver's license is required
• Minimum 18 years of age
