Special Ed Teacher

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at an elementary school in Fairfax, SC. This contract role supports 4th grade students in a resource room setting, offering a valuable opportunity to make a significant impact in a supportive educational environment.

• Deliver tailored instruction designed to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and staff
• Monitor and document student progress regularly, adjusting strategies as needed
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement
• Work closely with general education teachers and related service providers to coordinate support

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, especially in resource room settings
