About the role

Technical Program Managers in Find My deliver the right feature at the right time. It’s a hands-on, cross-functional, and highly engaged role. A great PM is the beating heart of their team—driving alignment, clearing ambiguity, and pushing for quality every step of the way.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of technically complex customer-facing features across Apple platforms—from concept through launch—with a focus on improving location accuracy, privacy, security, and the foundational Find My network infrastructure.
  • Create an execution plan that accounts for product priorities and engineering feasibility, adapting it as the project progresses.
  • Ensure all teams have clear expectations of deliverables across engineering, design, product, and data science, ensuring these land on time with high-quality, and using program skills to escalate and mitigate when things go off track.
  • Drive the definition of priorities, scope, and success metrics while balancing technical feasibility with user value.
  • Evaluate user experiences critically by becoming a user expert, and translating pain-points into plans for refinement.
  • Communicate status, risks, and trade-offs clearly across teams and leadership, providing informed recommendations and options alongside issues.
  • Represent your program with accountability and integrity across Apple’s internal teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-8+ years of Program Management or Technical Program Management experience leading technical programs or cross-functional software initiatives in developer or business-facing products.
  • Demonstrated success shipping client applications (e.g., iOS, macOS) and/or complementary web or backend services.
  • Proven ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams and make technically informed decisions.
  • Strong empathy for users and the ability to reason through product design trade-offs.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to track many moving parts at once.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging with technical and executive audiences alike.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs and drive alignment across stakeholders.
  • Experience on projects with rapidly changing information, while also landing work along the way.
