About the role

Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the world of data with products like databases, data integration, big data analytics, messaging & real-time analytics, and business intelligence

Responsibilities

  • Looking for Senior Software Engineer with comprehensive experience in all service aspects of high-throughput, multi-tenant Azure services
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and successfully drive execution through collaboration and partnership with PM team and partners
  • The right candidate should also be deeply committed to enhancing the customer experience and continuously iterating to improve every aspect of it

  • This role requires flexibility in taking on different responsibilities as needs arise, as well as developing a global and ownership-oriented perspective on the service

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript
  • OR equivalent experience
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of industry experience in software development and building world-class solutions
  • Outstanding technical problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Passion for quality with experience designing and implementing automated tests, including unit tests and integration tests
