Stepdown Unit Nurse (RN)

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Stepdown experience in Littleton, CO. This contract position allows skilled nurses to provide focused care in an intermediate-acuity setting, supporting patients transitioning from intensive care.

• Monitor and assess patients who require close observation but do not need intensive care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records

• Current and valid RN license
• Experience working in a Stepdown or progressive care unit
• Strong assessment skills and ability to manage multiple patients effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of relevant nursing protocols and standards
