School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

A licensed practical nurse (LPN) is needed for a contract position at an elementary school in Allentown, PA for the current school year. This role supports the health and wellness of students by providing nursing care and assisting with health education within the school setting.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
• Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
• Monitor students’ health status and maintain accurate health records.
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student health plans.
• Assist with health screenings and immunization tracking.
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school environment.

• Current and valid LPN/LVN license.
• Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response.
• Ability to manage confidential health information professionally.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and school personnel.
