Pediatric School Speech Pathology

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school located in Deville, LA. This contract position spans the entire school year and requires onsite presence to deliver direct services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.

• Administer assessments, develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapy services to students for speech and language disorders
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver services following best practices within a school environment, with flexibility to incorporate teletherapy as needed

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working within healthcare and pediatric settings
• Background in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
• Ability to provide teletherapy services considered a plus
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing speech and language interventions for a diverse student population
