Patient Care Coordinator

The Patient Care Coordinator provides continuous and well-rounded care to surgical and non-surgical patients. Educates the patient and/or family on pre-operative and post-operative care in addition to the treatments being provided in the practice. Schedules surgical procedures, pre-admission testing and serves as a liaison between the patient and practice support staff. Monitors the patients course of treatment and communicates pertinent information to the physician to obtain referrals and/or orders for medication and/or diagnostic tests. Displays a caring and professional attitude at all times as well as maintaining personal and professional growth.
