Speech Pathologist Assistant

A K-12 school in San Jose, CA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to cover a maternity leave from October 20 through June 5. This contract position involves working across three different school sites, supporting students in both elementary and middle school settings.

• Providing speech and language therapy services to K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Collaborating with educators and school staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Traveling between two elementary schools (2 days per week at each location) and one middle school (1 day per week)
• Participating in team meetings to discuss student needs and therapy plans

• Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Experience working in a school-based setting is highly preferred
• Ability to manage a schedule across multiple sites efficiently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and reliability to work throughout the school year contract
