• Complete comprehensive social developmental studies for special education evaluations
• Participate as IEP team member contributing social-emotional perspectives

• Consult with teachers and administrators regarding student welfare concerns
• Maintain detailed case notes and comply with documentation requirements
• Advocate for students and families within school systems

• Valid Michigan School Social Worker license or LLMSW with school social work endorsement
• Master's degree in Social Work from CSWE-accredited program
• Minimum two years of school social work experience in K-12 educational settings
• Knowledge of child welfare systems, community resources, and family support services
• Understanding of trauma-informed practices and cultural competence
• Experience with virtual service delivery and telehealth platforms
• Strong crisis intervention and safety assessment skills
• Excellent documentation and case management abilities
