Behavioral Specialist in School Setting

A full-time position is available for a Behavior Specialist to support the ASD program within a K-12 school setting in Cambridge, MA. This contract role offers 32.5 hours per week, with a start date ASAP and an assignment end date of June 18, 2025. The candidate will work onsite alongside a dedicated team to support students on the autism spectrum, focusing on behavioral interventions and positive outcomes.

• Implement behavior support plans tailored to students with ASD
• Collaborate with educators and therapists to develop strategies that promote positive behavioral changes
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Provide direct behavioral intervention and support to students
• Maintain compliance with all school policies and state requirements

• Active Behavior Specialist certification or licensure in Massachusetts
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required
• Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those on the autism spectrum
• Proven ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively in a school environment
