Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze field performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential quality issues
- Lead and support root cause investigations for field failures, collaborating with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams
- Drive containment actions and permanent corrective actions for identified quality issues, ensuring implementation across the supply chain
- Partner with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to provide feedback from the field, collaborating with future product designs and manufacturing processes for improved quality
- Work with suppliers to address component and sub-assembly quality issues impacting field performance
- Generate regular reports on field quality performance, communicate insights to stakeholders, and present findings and recommendations to leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience in program management
- 5 years of experience in a technical quality role
- Ability to travel 25% to manufacturing sites, supplier facilities, or service/repair locations worldwide
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Experience with statistical data analysis and problem-solving methodologies
- Experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for hardware systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and external partners
