Corrections Mental Health Counselor 3

The Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Corrections Mental Health Counselor 3 for the Monroe Correctional Complex located in Monroe, WA just outside of Seattle.

• Provide mental health counseling services to assigned incarcerated individuals
• Provide mental health counseling services including individual counseling, group counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health assessment
• Document and treat patients on assigned caseload
• Complete Mental Health Encounter Reports, Mental Health Appraisals, and Mental Health Updates
• Facilitate and monitor development and implementation of individualized Mental Health Treatment Plans

• Certified Agency Affiliated Counselor (CAAC)
• Master's degree in Psychology from an accredited school or department of psychology
• Two years of supervised experience
