About the role

The Director of Sanctions Processing is a key leadership role within GI Sanctions Processing team (GISP) that has both regional and global responsibilities for overseeing and enhancing end-to-end sanctions screening solutions and will report to the Global Head of Sanctions Processing.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure screening is executed effectively and in a compliant manner with the AIG Global Economic Sanctions Policy
  • Drive the continuous improvement of sanctions screening application and optimization of the screening algorithms
  • Manage the Global Hub for Pre-Bind Screening Process
  • Working with the Global Head of Sanctions Processing managing Operational Transformation of the current screening processes to the Target Future State

Requirements

  • Familiarity with AI / ML driven screening technologies or data analytics platforms
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • 8+ years of sanctions compliance knowledge
  • Proven analytical, leadership and problem solving skills
  • Proven Commercial and Consumer Insurance knowledge or experience working in a diversified financial institution
  • Familiarity with sanctions screening systems (e.g. FinScan, Bridger Insight, Actimize, FircoSoft, Moody Analytics Orbis or similar)
