About the role
An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher to support early childhood special education needs within various elementary school settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in early childhood education classrooms.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote inclusive learning environments.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in team meetings.
Requirements
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience working with young children in early childhood special education settings.
- Strong understanding of federal and state special education laws and regulations.
- Effective communication skills to engage with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple classroom caseloads efficiently.
