About the role
Responsible for delivering cardiopulmonary care services in alignment with specific physician orders, department policies, and procedures. This position performs diagnostic tests on the cardiovascular and pulmonary systems to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung disorders. This role includes patient assessments, care plans, and the implementation and evaluation of therapy plans, adjusting care based on patient's age and cultural diversity. In addition, this position initiates, manages, and discontinues pulmonary life support equipment, and manages the utilization of inhaled medical gases. This role requires adherence to compliance plans and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. The value you'll bring to the team: Demonstrates knowledge of techniques and treatment modalities for patients of varying ages, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric. Follows best practices to reduce potential medication errors. Performs all duties and responsibilities for the assigned shift. Documents all pertinent data on the patients medical record after completing service. Administers respiratory therapy treatments, understanding the purpose and possible side effects of each. Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery methods and equipment, remaining alert to possible side effects. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Required qualifications: Associate's Current credential of CRT by N.B.R.C. Current state Respiratory Therapist Licensure (RLT) in applicable state of employment Current BLS certification from American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS)

Requirements
- Associate's
- Current credential of CRT by N.B.R.C.
- Current state Respiratory Therapist Licensure (RLT) in applicable state of employment
