About the role
Looking for someone to case manage our middle/high school students (6-12), most are resource room level, with a few structured learning center students. The total caseload is approximately 22 students at this time for that level. It is a smaller school setting, there is one other teacher on site for the elementary level, as well as 4 instructional assistants that work in the special education department.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to provide inclusive learning opportunities.
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Provide ongoing communication and support to students and families.
Requirements
- Valid Oregon teaching license in Special Education (required).
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
