About the role
A K-12 school in Queen Creek, AZ is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Contract School Year (CSY) assignment. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with a diverse student population in a dynamic educational setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide targeted therapy sessions to address specific speech and language goals
- Monitor student progress carefully and maintain detailed documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators and support staff to ensure integrated care
- Involve and educate families in the therapy process to extend support beyond the classroom
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Arizona
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
