About the role
This position will perform a wide range of administrative and general clerical duties in support of the operations group.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file reports generated through the office dealing with budget forecasting, daily/weekly volume reports, overtime reports and any other reports or correspondence as required by the Corporate Office and/or Managers and Supervisors.
- Order equipment and supplies as needed.
- Receive and process correspondence going in and out of the office.
- Code and process invoices in the company bill-paying system.
- Organize and maintain all filing of correspondence, reporting and inspections.
- Maintain handbooks and procedures regarding safety and regulations and assist the Manager with compliance assurance.
- Ensure all timesheets are completed and reported accurately according to Company policy.
- Serve as receptionist when needed and handle and/or route incoming telephone calls.
- Schedule employee training and assist with travel details for employees.
- Perform various duties to maintain the Company’s building, facilities and equipment appearance as neat and orderly.
- Provide assistance with any other tasks assigned.
Requirements
- Certificate in Office Administration or equivalent business diploma preferred;
- 2–4 years’ administrative experience preferred;
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint;
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and responsibility;
- Able to work with minimal supervision;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Oil and gas industry experience preferred;
- Able to contribute to and thrive in a busy team environment;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Demonstrate initiative and strong work ethic;
- Permanent residency within 50 miles of the Cushing office;
- Compliance with the company’s Drug and Alcohol Policy including pre-employment testing;
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract;
- Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks.
