Excise Tax Examiner 3 - UCP Claims Specialist

The Excise Tax Examiner 3 (ETE 3) Claims Specialist on the Unclaimed Property Claims and Outreach team in Tumwater, WA.

• Manage unclaimed property securities
• Process securities claims
• Provide guidance and support to claimants and staff
• Complete complex reconciliation of securities
• Process updates to security owners and CUSIP holdings
• Educate claimants on options to sell shares or have them reissued
• Work with financial institutions and other regulated institutions
• Attend in-person outreach events
• Approve or deny claims up to $50,000
• Provide ongoing technical assistance to the claims team
