About the role
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide services for students in a K-12 school setting. This onsite role supports a diverse student population and is ideal for professionals with experience in pediatric speech therapy and educational environments. The contract duration aligns with the normal school year schedule.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to support communication development tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to foster effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports adhering to school and state guidelines
- Participate actively in meetings and professional development activities within the school calendar
Requirements
- Certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations within healthcare, school, or teletherapy settings
- Familiarity with the complete school year (NSY) calendar preferred
