$60.00/hour - Contract RN Short-Stay Unit - Days Texas Health Huguley offersa flexiblestaffingalternativefor RNs on a temporary basisfor an assignment with a maximum duration of13 weeks.Assignments may be extendedper original assignmentterms butcannot exceed 12consecutivemonths totalatanyone location/facility.

Unit: M/S Observation / Short-Stay Unit
Schedule: 36 Guaranteed hours (3 - 12 hour shifts a week commitment)
Shift : Days (7:00am 7:00pm)
Location: 11801 South Fwy., Burleson, TX 76028
13-week assignment commitment with 1 week of facility orientation.
MUST HAVE ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE
Position and Hourly Rate: Registered Nurse (RN): Days: $60.00/hour and $66.00/hour on weekends
Includes Shift differentials : Yes, the above is with diffs.
Includes Emerging Disease pay if eligible (based on patient assignment): Yes

The role you'll contribute: The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care activities that are developmental and age specific for the population served. The Registered Nurse performs a wide variety of job duties during their shifts; promotes and restores patients health by collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, completing the nursing process and the patients plans of care, providing emotional, physical and spiritual support to the patients and their families and supervising assigned team members.

Deliver patient centered nursing care using the SHARE principles to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing physical, emotional and spiritual support to the patients and their families. Provides quality care by adhering to Standards of Practice, measuring health outcomes against patient centered goals. Utilize multidisciplinary team strategies to achieve quality outcomes. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with policies and procedures, calling for assistance from healthcare support personnel when needed. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of Texas or a Compact Registered Nurse License from a NCLA Compact State. Associate Degree in Nursing. Active BLS Certification Active ACLS Certification EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: BSN PREFERRED
