About the role

Reporting to the Quality and Patient Safety Leadership Team, the RN Process Improvement Nurse Clinical Quality Coordinator is an experienced clinician that assumes a shared accountability for exemplary clinical outcomes and is responsible for providing leadership for planning, coordinating, and conducting organizational quality improvement activities in clinical practice and hospital operational areas across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Abstracts data for a variety of databases and identifies performance improvement functions based on data analysis.
  • Performs data collection on special studies as requested.
  • Inputs data into correct electronic systems.
  • Coordinates technical data support and reports preparation for publicly reported measures, improvement activities or other activities.
  • Integrates internal and external national or professional benchmark data and summarizes data analysis in a format that facilitates identification and prioritization of improvement initiatives.
  • Communicates, reports, and consults publicly reported and/or nationally benchmarked data to various clinical and physician departments throughout the hospital to drive improvements.

Requirements

  • FL RN license
  • 5 years of related experience in healthcare with any amount in accreditations or OR.
