Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Python
- Work closely with senior engineers and other team members to design and implement cloud-based solutions
- Design and maintain pipelines that capture and process operational and customer data
- Enable proactive monitoring and rapid response to business trends and anomalies
- Develop and maintain custom Python-based frameworks for scalable data ingestion and transformation
- Leverage Microsoft Fabric for orchestrating and managing data workflows
- Build internal customer-facing applications using AngularJS
- Implement backend services using Python-based AWS Lambdas and API Gateway
- Use PostgreSQL for operational data storage and transactional workloads
- Employ Teradata for enterprise-scale analytics, historical data analysis, and reporting
- Design and publish Power BI dashboards to visualize key business metrics
- Provide stakeholders with interactive, self-service reporting tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud applications
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in software development with a focus on cloud technologies
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Basic understanding of AWS services and cloud computing concepts
- Languages & Frameworks: Python, AngularJS
- Cloud & APIs: AWS Lambda, API Gateway
- Data Platforms: Microsoft Fabric, PostgreSQL, Teradata
- BI Tools: Power BI
- Custom Tools: Proprietary Python frameworks for data harvesting and processing
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Open to receiving constructive feedback and continuously improving skills and performance
