Co-op, Flight Operations Crew Resources - Pilot Pay Experience

The Delta Pilot Pay team is seeking a highly motivated Co-op that has business curiosity and creative thinking to improve the Pilot Pay Experience. The Co-op will work closely with the teams responsible for ensuring pilots and pay-adjacent stakeholders receive efficient, accurate and user-friendly support in alignment with the Flight Operations pay strategy.

• Identify, visualize, analyze, and optimize business processes
• Support the development of Knowledge Management content, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Glossary of Terminology and team pages
• Apply industrial engineering and 6 sigma principles to business processes
• Provides customer service to pilots by responding to inquiries sent to Crew Resources and distributing pay updates to pilots as applicable
• Ability to identify and create new or improved processes to support the changes in the operation
• Assist in the delivery of new tools, content and communications
• Utilize business process documentation and knowledge to support new hire, recurrent, and new delivery technology training

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
• Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Must be self-sufficient and complete assignments with minimal supervision
• Must be detail-oriented and perform well under pressure
• Must be eager to accept responsibility and create value-added projects
• Must demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Must demonstrate a professional demeanor when interacting with all levels
• Must be able to commit to three alternating work semesters
• Must exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work with and safeguard confidential and sensitive information
• Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
• Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
• Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
• Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
