Special Education Teacher

This full-time position seeks an Elementary Special Education Teacher to support a Federal Setting 2 classroom within an elementary school environment in Burnsville, MN. The educator will work independently, demonstrating strong organizational and classroom management skills while managing a small caseload with potential for growth.

• Manage and support a current caseload of 4 students with potential to grow to 7, adapting strategies as needed
• Deliver instruction using specialized curricula and platforms, including SONDAY, Great Leaps, and Moving with Math
• Complete required due process and compliance documentation using SpedForms
• Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate adaptability to shifting classroom needs
• Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment conducive to learning

• Experience or willingness to learn specialized curricula and digital documentation platforms
• Ability to quickly adapt and be self-sufficient in daily classroom operations
• Strong skill set in classroom management and organization
• Comfortable managing a small but potentially expanding group of students with diverse learning needs
