Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN)

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in an acute PCU setting
• Provide compassionate, safe, and effective patient care adhering to best practices and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate closely with physicians, families, and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Delegate tasks appropriately and maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Educate patients and families throughout admission and discharge processes
• Serve as a clinical resource and assist with orientation of new staff as needed
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record

• Valid California RN License
• Current ACLS and BLS certification
• Experience in progressive care or similar acute setting
• Ability to provide patient/family education and coordinate care transitions
• Strong communication skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
• Willingness to float to different units including Ashby and Herrick Rehab campuses
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and be on-call as needed
