The Video Applications team develops high-profile media creation applications used by millions of people. iMovie, Final Cut Camera, Final Cut Pro, Motion, and Compressor are groundbreaking media authoring tools that consumers and creative professionals rely on for everything from broadcast news and feature films to documentaries and home movies. We’re looking for an experienced software engineer to join our team focused on defining and implementing our privacy-first instrumentation capabilities for Video Applications. You will work with cross-functional partners to collect data for our media applications to improve the creator experience while preserving user privacy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement privacy-first instrumentation capabilities for Video Applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to collect data for media applications
- Improve the creator experience while preserving user privacy
- Design and develop user interface implementations
- Work on cross-platform applications
- Implement instrumentation frameworks and/or application architecture
Requirements
- Strong experience in Swift and/or Objective-C, C/C++
- Proven software engineering background including key concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with others
- Passionate about the power of data to drive product innovation and improvements
- BS or MS in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent work experience
