About the role

Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique learning requirements.
- Collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create inclusive classroom environments.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies to meet evolving needs.
- Maintaining detailed records of student performance and communication with all stakeholders.
- Providing a supportive and encouraging atmosphere fostering students’ independence and confidence.
Requirements
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience working with middle school-aged children in a special education setting.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt instructional methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
