Critical Care Nurse

Provide specialized, high-acuity nursing in a Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit supporting patients with acute stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizures, and post-surgical needs.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex neurological conditions in a 19-bed Neurosurgical ICU
• Monitor invasive intracranial pressure and perform frequent, detailed neurological assessments
• Manage hemodynamic monitoring and assist with routine diagnostic imaging such as CT, MRI, and angiography
• Provide care under a 2-3:1 patient assignment ratio, ensuring patient safety and clinical excellence
• Float to other ICUs or step-down units as needed to support the team
• Maintain adherence to clinical protocols and best practices specific to neurocritical care

• Registered Nurse (RN) license with current certification
• Proven experience in a Neuro ICU setting is essential
• Ability to provide critical care nursing independently during night shifts
• Competence in invasive intracranial pressure monitoring and neurological assessments
