This role includes assessing and monitoring patients, administering medications and sedation, assisting with procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, PCI, EP studies, and device implants, and responding to emergencies with ACLS protocols. This role ensures personal accountability for relationship-based care and aligns with the organizational mission and core values. In addition, this position involves assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, and evaluating outcomes. The RN also educates and supports patients and families, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and ensures safe, evidence-based care in alignment with organizational standards, values, and a commitment to excellence in cardiovascular health. The value you'll bring to the team: Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards. Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection. Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient. Provides patient and family education based on assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability, and evaluates the effectiveness of teaching. Recognizes the patient or designee as a full partner in providing compassionate and coordinated care based on respect for the patients preferences, values, and needs.
