School-Based Physical Therapist

A full-time Physical Therapist position is available at an elementary school in Edgewood, MD, for a full semester contract. This role focuses on supporting young students within an elementary caseload by providing therapeutic interventions that enhance mobility, physical development, and functional independence.

• Deliver individualized physical therapy services to elementary-aged students.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on student evaluations and needs.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student outcomes and adjust therapy approaches accordingly.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist with goal setting.
• Maintain compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and professional standards.

• Licensed Physical Therapist credential appropriate for school-based practice.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings.
• Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and physical therapy interventions for children.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to manage a full elementary caseload while maintaining thorough documentation.
