DSHS ESH Clinical Pharmacist

• Provide clinical pharmacy services and ensure appropriate drug therapy
• Partner with multidisciplinary treatment teams to monitor patient medications and treatment outcomes
• Provide comprehensive information to medical staff; provide patient medication counseling at discharge
• May participate in interdisciplinary committees
• Complete assigned Pharmacy and Therapeutics activities

• Board Certification in Psychiatry, Pharmacotherapy, Geriatrics, Ambulatory Care or Diabetes
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Valid Washington state license to practice pharmacy, or eligibility to obtain licensure within 90 days of employment

• $10,000 annually for Board Certification in an area relevant to patient care
• Up to 6 days off for Continuing Education necessary for the maintenance of a license
• May qualify for student loan repayment program
• Additional benefits for Pierce County employees
• Duties performed on-site at this work location are currently eligible for an additional 5% premium pay
