About the role
Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students with hearing impairments. Develop and implement instructional plans that meet IEP goals and state standards. Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech-language pathologists, and audiologists to support student learning. Utilize assistive technology and communication strategies to enhance accessibility. Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records and reports. Provide advocacy and resources to families to foster student success.

Requirements
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing.
- Experience working with K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Strong knowledge of assistive listening devices and communication methodologies (e.g., ASL, Cued Speech).
- Ability to design and adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
